In India there is increase in price of Raw materials used in foundries like Ferro alloys, carbon products, inoculants, magnesium and others.
The increase is from 100-300% in just one moth and supply is also doubtful.
Majority of the raw material are coming from one country only, where it seems some plants are closed down because of pollution and shortage of electricity etc.
I request: –
- All associations to kindly inform situation in your country.
- As an old association like WFO should also explore to check feasibility of resuming production of such items in Europe, Latin America and African countries.
